TABLETS

Journal Entry: Mon Nov 2, 2009, 5:37 PM
I LOVE TABLETS

I am saving up to get a new one soon, by Christmas!
Intous 4 =)
But I have a question.
I have the largest size in bamboo fun, and am looking to go the next size up with intous 4. Should I do this? or stay at the same size?
I have the desk space... but is it worth the money???????

Thanks for your help!

Are tablets worth buying ?
:iconhorselover1036:
Should I ask for one for christmas? I use GIMP too, is it worth buying Photoshop?
:iconkatiecatapillar:
Photoshop has a trial on it's website, so I would recommend downloading the trial before you buy the program. They have really good discounts for students, so that is the best time to purchase it if you are a student.

It's a lot easier to use a graphic tablet with photoshop. I have never used gimp, so I cannot tell you much about gimp and tablets. But I bought a bamboo fun and recommend it for anyone starting in the graphic field as they are cheap, but are still really excellent tablets that get the job done. All my recent work was done with a bamboo fun, just have a look at their bamboo products on the wacom website. Some are suited to other computer uses so try and find the one dedicated to art. They brought some new bamboo tablets out, so the one I own is not there, but I'm certain they have replaced it with a newer version. You will just have to take a look at the description on the products.

Goodluck! :D
